Description
mBot Ranger is here to take your coding lessons by storm! Fitting in computing and coding around an already jam-packed curriculum can seem a challenge, but it doesn’t need to be. mBot Ranger is an engaging and simple programmable floor robot that can develop a wide range of skills. Once built, mBot Ranger can be coded for adventures around your school by pupils at the beginning of their coding journey or by those who are further along.
mBot Ranger contains all the parts needed to make 3 different coding floor robots, meaning opportunities for planning, designing, testing, engineering and coding are plenty. There are 5 different sensors that can be controlled using the drag-and-drop style visual programming platform, MakeBlock, and mBot Ranger has a further 10 extension ports to extend its potential. The only limitation is your pupils’ imaginations.
•Teach coding simply using mBot Ranger and the many free resources available from MakeBlock.
•Investigate the best design for different terrains; race several floor robots; or create games using mBot Ranger
•Inject excitement into your computing lessons and provide real-world coding experiences for your pupils.
•Program wirelessly using a PC or a mobile device with pupils over the age of 10.
