This latest version (V3.0) of our Chemical Stock Database is in line with the new GHS/CLP Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 on classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures that came into force on 20 January 2009. The date from which substance classification and labeling must be consistent with the new rules will be 1 December 2010 and for mixtures 1 June 2015, thus schools and college staff especially technicians need to be at the forefront of these changes.
