In Silly Straws Challenge, Frothy Fruit Company sells drinks from travelling stalls around the city. They want to sell Silly Straws for their drinks, but there is limited space on the stall! Students develop design specifications based on research, criteria, and constraints; create annotated sketches, models, and prototypes; conduct comparative and fair tests; and develop mathematical skills in the context of budgeting, as they create point-of-sale display stands for the fun curly straws.
